BVI Receives ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 Accreditation Certificate – A Milestone in Quality Excellence
Botswana Vaccine Institute (BVI) proudly announces the official handover of its ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation certificate from the Southern African Development Community Accreditation Services (SADCAS). This significant achievement marks a major step forward in our ongoing commitment to quality, reliability, and international standards in animal health.
The handover ceremony was graced by the Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Fidelis Molao, alongside SADCAS CEO Dr. Eve Christine Gadzikwa. They joined BVI CEO Mr. Andrew Madeswi, Board Member Mr. Michael Sento, and the BVI team in celebrating this remarkable accomplishment.
BVI’s Testing Laboratory is now accredited under the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard for Pharmaceutical Products – Microbiological Analysis. This globally recognized standard affirms the competence, impartiality, and consistency of our laboratory operations, ensuring accurate and credible test results.
This accreditation is a testament to BVI’s unwavering pursuit of operational excellence and continuous improvement. It reinforces our dedication to producing high-quality animal health products that comply with international benchmarks, support global trade, and contribute to consumer protection and global health security.
